CSPCP asks MPs to vote Yes to C-277

Private Member’s Bill C-277, An act providing for the development of a framework on palliative care in Canada, is scheduled for vote (“third reading”) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, May 9th. The CSPCP is a strong and consistent advocate for this bill. A recent example is Dr. David Henderson’s presentation to the federal government’s Standing Committee on Health: http://www.cspcp.ca/cspcp-advocates-to-accept-bill-c-277-march-7-2017/

On Monday, May 8th, the CSPCP sent a message to all MPs in Canada urging them to vote Yes to C-277. If it passes, it will be a significant step toward improving access to high-quality palliative care for all Canadians. Thank you to Sarnia-Lambton MP Marilyn Gladu for putting the private members’ bill forward.
